You don’t have to use third party software to put a crosshair on the centre of the screen. I know some people will raise the issue about unfair advantage via superior hardware: eg a better monitor. I’ve been thinking this one over and I feel that anything that you add via software or hardware outside of the game that gives you an advantage is most likely considered cheating. It's such a small feature that can help the game so much. This way people would give Hunt a second chance and not run off instantly. That way you can always pre-aim without forgetting the crosshair placement. When sprinting, the crosshair is replaced and it becomes a dot. When you have a weapon out, the classic crosshair shows (without a dot, just like Hunt's). A PERFECT example is Outer Worlds - Single Player open world game **WITH AN OFF-CENTERED CROSSHAIR**. We all know that this would help new players not give up on the game the second they see the crosshair placement.Īn example is Rainbow Six Siege, the center dot is always visible. And I end up using the center of my screen when rushing an enemy while sprinting, or peeking a corner while holstered.Īnd I can bet that I'm not the only one with this hobby (aiming with the center of the screen). Sprinting makes it disappear, holstered weapons make it disappear. I don't mind it not being centered, but I forget that it is. So coming back to Hunt after CS/R6/ULTRAKILL, it feels off.

And I don't play every day, nor is Hunt the only game I play. Hunt is the only PVP shooter (I play) with a crosshair that's off-centered. I would accept being called the worst player in the world, but let me have this feature. It should be an option, so chads can have it off and talk smack about people who use it. /r/HuntLFG - find players to squad up with.Rule 10: No Politics/Religious Discussions.Rule 8: Refrain from accusing posts or submissions for violating our community rules.Rule 7: Refrain from violations of the Hunt: Showdown ToS.Rule 6: No cheat/griefing accusations or witch hunting.
